WHITE LED PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Yes that right, white LEDs! These are items and are the latest in lighting technology. These
have a "water clear" lens and are 3mm or 0.125" in diameter, which is the same size as those dull
yellow LEDs in HO and N scale engine headlamps. These LEDs are also upto 20X brighter than the
typical, dull yellow LEDs often used for headlamps (1000 milli-Candle vs. 50 milli-Candle). Unlike
filament lamps that start brown at low voltages and then become white at higher voltages, these
white LEDs will provide a white appearance with 2.9V when your locomotive beings to move at
low speeds. With each white LED, we provide 3 resistors to allow you to tune the brightness
of the LED to your needs. We also provide a reverse polarity protection diode to protect the LED
against damage and insure long LED life. Many locomotive manufacturer's do not protect their LED
so they can save money. The white LEDs are sold in groups of 10 for $50.
