The sound features of each engine that is offered as a Mini-Prototype Sound Unit is described
in each section below (near future product offerings are also listed). With most descriptions,
is contained a 5 to 20 second WAV sound file to give you an idea how the engine sounds.
READ THIS FIRST: Mini-Prototype sound units use 16 bit, 44KHz sound files (high quality) in their
manufacturing process. The sound samples at this web site become distorted when compressed
for 8 bit, low resolution to aid in Internet data transfer speed. This distortion sounds like a back-
ground "hiss". Otherwise, these small & simple sound files would be greater than 700K each,
and could take a long time to download if you had a slow modem. This also helps disourage
others from turning these sound samples into saleable products. One customer has identified
that these sound files can get garbled when played on an Apple Macintosh computers. The sound
files were originally digitized using a SoundBlaster 16bit interface on an IBM Aptiva computer.

These samples have been randomly strung together to make something for the web site.
